Shane was killed in an accident at Desert International Horse Park in 2021. He was Simonne's boyfriend and was planning on proposing the following week. Shane was an incredibly kind human being, and an even harder worker. He loved working at the shows and loved Simonne and Brutus with all of his heart. He is missed every day.

LimErick

While Limerick was not Simonne's first horse he was her first jumper and gave Simonne her love of showjumping and going fast. Together they were a force to be reckoned with. They had over 22 wins at Spruce Meadows as well as a win at the Paris Masters in 2011. Not to mention numerous wins throughout the west coast. Limerick passed away due to colic in April of 2021.
Harvey "Skip" berg
1941-2022
Skip was an amazing man. He was strong, he was determined and he knew what he wanted. He gave Simonne her love for horses and was fiercely competitive. Skip passed away from complications of dementia in January 2022 surrounded by those he loved most. He will be missed but we know he is at peace.
